Jo is a thirty-four year old English civil engineer who has lived in Brisbane Australia for the last two years. She prefers her daily 25-minute commute in Australia to the 1.5 hour journey he used to have in London. She lives with her boyfriend in a 2 bedroom apartment in a low-rise block. Jo is accustomed to being involved in community issues but has not been established in her Australian community long enough to know her neighbors very well. Jo has reached the point in her life where she would like to make more ethical lifestyle choices but she is not quite certain about how to go about making real significant changes. She does know that she is responsible for 12.92 tonnes of carbon and is currently living on almost three entire planets. A friendly and responsible person, Jo believes in the importance of family and community and gives very little weight to God for her daily decisions and actions.
