Which of the four worlds do you believe that your character will be living in?
Ecological Age
Why?
A new paradigm has evolved in 1950-70s. It started in phisics and gradually moved to tech, biology, genetics, natural and computer linguistic. It gradually changed life of our society until a cheap source of green energy had been finally found. It happened 10 years ago, right in the midst of the crisis 2007-2010, which brought the whole world to the brink of doom.
Developed countries immediately started implementing the discovery to help their economies. Government works for building infrastructure (charge stations instead of gas stations) helped to reduce unemployment and revive economic activity. Developing countries and others lagging started a slow shift too. In about 2012 wireless transmission of energy came to life, what made the transition even faster. As much as 20% of all the machines are now using green energy. Dependance on oil reduced significantly. lagging countries have a problem of switching in terms of infrustruture (time and cost to build). Main forecast is that the final switch from oil to green would appear in 2040-2050.

Aside that robots come cheap and made their way to every house. Most every human activity is using a robot in some way (cleaning or websearfing, driving, growing plants etc).

To around 2018 biology found the way to recicle the waste and reduce global CO2 pollutions by half.

Semantic web evloved. Most significant and costly instruments are personal searches and filters, as information stream grows exponentially.
What has been the most significant event in their life over the past 10 years?
I made a huge leap in communications - from negotiator to communication builder, so now instead of translating people to each ither, i help people connect to each other.
I also started learning genetics & eco-systems life cycle. I don't have any huge implications of this at the moment, but i feel, that this road would bring me to a strange but beautiful journey in the future.

What is most different for the character in 2020 compared the way they lived in 2010?
Robots are a part of daily life.
My favourite game is to construct an eco-system, place genetically constructed species there and run a test-drive to see the evolution process. Calls Evoluteco
Webinterface (via sensor technology) is pretty close to reality.
My new field of research is eco-systems life cycle
What has remained the same?
People
What is their lifestyle now?
Simplier in some ways and faster. Work & study, travel & socialization are so linked that it is hard to divede them. Play is a part of everyday life. For some it makes life tasty and funny. For some of them life is a puzzle of quests and everybody is challenging everybody. People even choose complete solitude just to stay away of any games.

Where is your character living now?
All around the world as usual. Bought a folding house - green energy, robot-driven, able to get big as a studio.
With whom are they living?
Close family (husband & 2 kids - 7 yrs old girl and 9 yrs old boy)
What is their occupation now?
Communicator. Thу field has changed: I was selling my projects 10 years ago and steped in negotiarions. Now i give advice on building communications between people in various environments, i am usually invited to grow the communication culture in communities and i connect people when some projects started.
How to they get there?
Phisically or via web
How does your character get around in general?
I am still most close to my family and friends, but have a huge network of people i constantly contact with.
Do they travel?
Most of the time
What is the furthest distance they have travelled?
Quality is what matters
What is the one place they would like to visit?
Socotra, forgotten island with ancient species, that is connected to my new field of research - genetics & eco-systems.
What is their favourite meal?
The usual: healthy, fresh
What is something they have never eaten but would like to try?
Just anything that is new
What do they purchase on a regular basis and where?
Food, water, energy - we have several individual supplyers for that
What was their most expensive purchase?
Folding house
What technology could they not live without? Has this changed over time?
recycling tech, web, robots
What was the last book/website they read/perused?
Video about genom construction, online workshop held by community of universities, united to work on this problem.
How does the character socially interact now?
Networks, that use sensors, made online surf very real. Still, i enjoy everyday interactions and love to meet people
How do they relax?
By spending time with family, learning and switching between projects, by going to natural parks and diving into art heritage of humanity
What is their next big life event?
Evoluteco plans to open muliplayer experiment for eco-system simulation. We come together, build the system, put in life created out of genetic constructors and see if that is sustainable in the long run. Expected to take 4 weeks and 1 million people.
What do they care most about now?
About links between human and nature, human abilities, dialogue, inspiration, about being a catalist for ideas and events.
What is a headline from their local paper now?
Second life declared independency
In a paragraph describe a typical day in the life for your character from the moment they wake up until they go to bed.
We, our family, wake up, have shower, do yoga, have breakfest together.
Then we dive into current todo list for our numerous projects. Some of the projects are common for me and my family (like, my kids and my husband make art workshops, where everybody could come up and start improvising, there are only a few guidelines to follow).
I love working in our garden, or in the forest, or in moving car, sometimes i go to coworking centre (if travel). Husband prefers his working room, kids enjoy their special place under the roof of our house.
I make calls, go to one of the web-worlds for meetings or to real ones - consulting my clients about communication.
I read about biology & genetics & theory of systems, play Evoluteco. I spend a few hours with my kids, we enjoy playing and learning together.
Me and my husband usually go into web raids together. Like the last one when we helped Global Stock Exchange Commission test several theories of the origins of stock bubbles (by creating and crushing one in real time) - about 10 mln people in that raid.
We eat together, cooking & communicating, usually with friends and our parents, or go out to our favourite restaurants.
In the night we go to theatres and exibitions, cinemas or simply go to sleep.
