Low carbon practices and an ecological future are possible in the right environment. Goverments and society would have to work together to make everyday lifestyle adaptations to be truly sustainable in 2020.

Moving house to a community-type living where farming is more integrated into daily life - Due to heavy storms and flood damage to previous location.

No personal vehicle, much less travel.

Worklife. Dependence on technology for communication and community-based engagements.

In a paragraph describe a typical day in the life for your character from the moment they wake up until they go to bed.
Alana wakes up eager to start the day at sunrise. She stretches and showers. Her first meal is raw dehydrated fruits grown in her garden and rice milk. The work day begins once at her desk. She responds to design queries for vertical farm on a UK based eco-town. She checks in on all of her food supplies - farms, sprouting germinators, and waters herb garden. She attends a seed market to get more types of foods - peppers and fruits - to be included in her community greenhouse. Today she attends a beneft concert in the evening - a violin and ukelele orchestra. It is a fundraiser to gain funding for an extension of a local vertical farm which needs repairing. There she has another meal prepared by the neighbouring community who is hosting the event. Once home, she checks the news. She's off to bed.
