This week you will take your character from 2020 to the year 2030. This is another ten years and an entire generation from the time we started our challenge.
Before you take your character on the journey from 2020 to 2030 have you taken a minute to review the four worlds your character could be living in? If not just click here.
Ask yourself, is the world you selected in 2020 still a right fit? Or have the events of the past 10 years changed things? If you selected the "selfish-bubble" scenario, is that still viable? Or has the world shifted to the "life is cheap" scenario? What would such a shift mean to your character and their choices?
In 2030, which of the four worlds do you believe that your character will be living in?
Based on the world you selected from the four plausible futures, read the following "Drivers of Change" cards (there are 20) and answer the associated questions in the context of your character.
Please remember "now" is 2030. Your character has aged 10 years, the answers you provide should be in the context of the chronological evolution of your character AND the world they are living in (Selfish Bubble, the Ecological Age, Life is Cheap, or Carbon is Crime).
For example if in 2020 your character was single and traveling the world; you might now have a married person with a second child on the way...if having two children is still allowed in their world.
